so here is what i have been doing with this car..... first pulled out all drivers took out the 14 awg and ran 8awg to each sub... then we dropped the load from 2 ohms to .6 ohms.... then pulled out all 3 inch phillips screws and replaced them with 2 inch by 1/4 inch lag bolts...then spent two days porting the box..... and let me tell you..............what an ordeal...... no way to router, so had to use a jig saw but the wood is 2 inches thick............. so just imagine how uneven the blade was going throught the wood........... nasty........ then once a rough hole was cut i used a bastard file and hand filed it down as smooth as i could get it.... then ran bondo around the top sides and bottom. smoothed that out with 180 sandpaper primed it. sanded with 400. then flat black paint....... very smooth port with no harsh edges and if no one looks close its strait to....lol!!!!!!! not! so thats all for now time to go home and have a quality beverage.....

hmm the car looks reallly familiar.. do you work at the future shop in chilliwack? if so i think i remember you showin the car to my buddy zach.. looked like it was setup for 8 subs.. four on either side of the vehicle with amps down the middle.. that sound right or i have you confused with another yellow 90ish hatch civic with mtx gear?
