One thing you have to remember, organizations like dB Drag, IASCA, USAC, etc... are there for their competitors and independant retailers, not the big box stores.

By them allowing stores like the Future Shop, Circuit City, Best Buy and others host sanctioned events, they effectively cut out the independant retailer who is the person that has the equipment and knowledge to help you guys build SQ and SPL systems.

I'm not saying that these stores hosting events is a bad thing, I believe it's a must for them to have shows. There just has to be some kind of system in place that allows the independant retailers some sort of exclusivity.

Around here other than the rules not properly being enforced, they were great shows.. very nice trophies, and very cheap!! I attended several the year before last.. unfortionatly last year, noone had any information about the shows and by the time we found out it was too late.. hopefully next year.. [img]smile.gif[/img]

where ever they are this year we will be there in full force(gees i kinda sounded like a super hero there, or like the three amigos..hahaha). A show is a show. Especially out here where shows are so far apart. last year wasn't bad. good turn out in bc.
