Good SPL Setup?

Hi, I'm fairly new to the scene and I'm just wondering what would be the best type of box to use in my Honda Civic to achieve loud, throat and ear rattling bass I have been running 2 12" W0's and I like everything about them, except they just aren't loud enough all of the time. I am looking into getting a pair of Kicker L7's or something that i can get in the price range of about 400-500$. I'll most likely be powering them with a new clarion 1500w amp. Any suggestions on good beefy 12"s that I could grab for about 400-500$ used, not new are appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time
