latest info i have is that Futureshop's House of Boom may become a Db Drag next year. One of the gentlemen at Futureshop was kind enough to mention this to me. I do not know how much weight this holds or whether it will go ahead, but i think it would get juices flowing for alot of competitors. What's your thought on this? personally i think that more sanctioned events would be a welcome.

I think that would be great.. I didn't goto a single one this due to the fact there wasn't many.. and when there was some, there was another competition closer.. and IMO they really need to work on the rules.. I think it would be great if they would do dbdrags..

I think it would be great. As much as I would like to keep getting the first place trophies, it's probably more important to get more poeple out, and get some more points on the board...

That would Rock. Can you find out for sure? If this is true...then I'll add them to the list of shops I'll visit to arrange things for next year.

I would love it. I din't go to any because they are not sanctioned events and therefor a mess with dumb rules.

we won't know for sure until next year. but i will poke around to my friends in high places and see what the scoop is. you gotta remember that just because it has different rules doesn't make it less interesting. it would be like being in db drag and saying iasca is screwed up or vice versa. House of boom is just another event that attracts new competitors. heck we won a 5 foot trophy and 150 bucks. thats so far the biggest trophy we have and all the money for one season put together plus we got a spot on tv. personally i think it kicked ***. but that's my opinion. rty not to picture it as a waste of time because then they will too, and eventually cancel it. 1 more show is one more show.

I hear ya dude. This sport needs all the competitors it can get. I didn't compete in any this year because they weren't a Db Drag. I'm not in any position to risk any equipment at a show that isn't offering me any accumulative points. I did however show up with my daughter and watch.

I do hope they do that. When I worked for future shop I originally said do dB Drags when we were deciding on what shows to hold, so I got Wayne in contact with the powers that be and they decided to not do dB Drag for whatever dumb reasons.

I would certainly be happy if they finally decided to do this. FS is a good company and I would support them with dB Drag 110%
