the hifonics amp says it is made to be easy on your electrical system which is good but im not really sure about the amp its self because i have heard anything about them. i have always heard soundstream amps were well built but haven't tried there mono amps personaly.

just looking for any input on these amps if anyone has some. thanks.

I would suggest going with the hifonics. You will get more power out of it. But also i would suggest getting the 2608 model which is this years model, the boards and build have changed for the better.

ive used that line of soundstream amp before and they are solid, give more than rated power

ill add that ill be putting 2 of what ever one i choose to 2 10" tf1's when ever yuli gets some more in.

if its for 2 10's I'd get the bigger out of the 2 amps.

Friends dont let friends run mattsonics. lol

Would you say that to Team WCA, Rusty, Team Livewire, and many others using them. And its Maxxsonics not mattsonics.

PsychoAcoustics Canada 06-22-2008 10:53 PM

maxxsonics is liek the parent company of hifonics, crunch, mmats, autotek

unholysavage 06-22-2008 11:02 PM

Maxxsonics owns Mmats? I know they have hifonics, crunch, autotek, MB Quart, but never heard anything about Mmats.
