both are Canadian, both have online shops, no duty/customs/brokerage to deal with

 

i just did a build for a guy with that amp and a 15 in a 5.3^ft tuned to 25 hz and his house rocked hard....went outside to do something and the shutters on the out side of the house were shaking. he had a $7k home theater setup befor he came to th store. bulit hime a set of TL towers and they trashed everything he had...then like a crackhead he came back for more bass.... needless to say its very nice setup

 

amp went on top was a heavy dude...looking for the pic after the bed-liner was on.....

 

so i ended up picking up a adire ada1200 plate amp its rated for 1200rms at 4 ohm.
and now i am just trying to find a sub or subs.

 

At 1200 wrms I'd put a dc audio level 3 sub with a few mods from stock on it

 

well i am looking at the Mach 5 audio IXL 18" for 230 shipped to my door brand new from mach5audio.com.
or i am thinking about two of the IXL12" that way i can place one is each corner in the front the room

i am not looking to spend more then 250 tops

 

That 18 should do it.....big box and tune low....if you need help on the box design let me know....

 

well i am not sure how big i want to go as of yet . i thinking about playing with a folded horn

 

A folding horn for a 18 with a low fs will take up lots of room. If you want a cool box and have a place for it the wicked one ( 4th order BP with folding horn load ports) its cool...have to mod a little for 12's
