Dany, Yuli do not know the SD8000, so he can´t say much about that. Maybe this can change.

that was with a old SD8000, the new ones provides 1dB of gain comparing with the old version, and Dennis got 0,7dB of gain just changing the amps, in 1,4 ohms. When he strap in 1 ohm the entire dB will come, he measured 1kW more power also.

I already have the ticket to fly to Canada in Jan 4th, so why do not you wait a bit more and try the amps that I´ll be carrying? I promisse you will like of some of our beasts.

 

murilo, murilo so much i can say about a test where an amp puts out less power and draws more current but there is simply no need.

Weren't you supposed to send Yuli an amp during the summer? You gott be high or been sniffin too much resin to think that your amp is louder than the ddlv. You still didn't answer Yuli's question about not sending him the amp. The reason I think you didn't send him the amp is because the test results would sucks ballz and he would post the results no matter what you paid him or offered him. No disrespect to DB Don. There I said it!!!
Do you honestly and truly think that your new updated version will be louder than the ddlv??? All I have to say is....

Dear Jones, I have a limited number of amps to offer, here in Brasil we are almost not covering the amplifiers demand.

To clear up things I´ll ask to Dennis himself post some info here, he has SD8000 and had DDLV, maybe he can say something, do not you think?

Apparently (please correct me if you wish, Yuli) Yuli do not like our amps and that is a shame, we are just releasing SD12000 and SDX and I´ll be proud if some great competitors in Canada use them, as I´m moving to Winnipeg in January.

 

And yes, I´m sniffin much resin because I´m building a car to december 3x in Brasil, ehehe.

Murilo i have nothing against your amps. I'd gladly try them out. But we already know you are going to give them to someone who will only make your product look bad. Just like the last Canadians you gave your amps to.

I think I have to clear some think up before this thread goes on fire XD

Before my 2 pcs SD8000 i had a DD Z2LV switching from my DD Z2LV to one SD8000 i gained 0.7 with the same power output ont he woofers.

I don´t care if the power is greater on a power resistor, it is how loud it play in the car that speaks for itself.

The ONE big difference i saw on the different amps is the imp. rise, DD had a imp. rise on about X4 below 0.5ohm, but SD had only X2 below 0.5ohm.

Therefor the SD kept more control on the cone during burp and therefore louder.

Someone got a point on this, please tell :P

I think the SD amps work great and, i can fit 2 pcs SD8000 as the same spot as a DD Z2LV took.

No talking in switching amps to SD for my part, theyre great, and i´m not letting them go

 

Ok Murilo, when you come in January make sure you have an amp for Yuli to test. I don't recall anyone saying anything about not liking your amps. I just think it would be more logical to have someone test it that has a vast amount of experience and will know exactly what to look for. Not to take away anything from anyone else who has tested this amp. I can guarantee that if you say,"Hey Yuli one is one the way," I don't think he will say ,"Keep it cause I ain't gonna test it out!!!!!" Let's do that test when you come in January ok? If after Yuli's test those amps do what they're supposed to do then I guarantee you I will take 2 right away and everyone else will buy them like hot cakes
