I truly am sorry it appears that everyone feels that Dave is slighted. I've always held his build as the quintessential Trunk build and have been chasing his numbers for yrs.

As far as no wall trunk being silly..I've had to Play in No Wall for the last 2 yrs cause of 3 batts in my car.(All of which are in the trunk). Personally knowing that I had to play there I take advantage of the rules and put batts behind the b pillar. I know I'm gonna get slaughtered in the Class and yet I continue to go and support the sport I love.

Maybe folks are right. Maybe there isnt room for a Trunk Class in drag.

Plz forgive a man for Dreaming too big

lol dream on.

but you gotta agree that VERY limited number of trunk cars have so many batts that they have to put them in the interior.

i just think better classification is required.

That's why they should use the same rules of the existing db drag street classes and apply them to a trunks. So Trunk A, Trunk B, Trunk C and have the same limitations on equipment and installation.

what i suggested to wayne was just simply street trunk. rules would have been street B rules with the exception that there could be 2 batteries. It was shot down because there were already too many class's. Now there are 3 trunk class's being tested.

That would be nice, street B rules but 2 (or more batts)

Truthfully since it seems my build has inspired some and is a loud trunk. To me it just seems logical that they just use the street A threw C rules I find it totally retarded limit on power unlimited on battery's Street classes state vehicle has to be stock well I have been around cars all my life and have yet to see cars made with the battery on the floor in your back seat. Trunk class with these rule I can see things just getting stupid. Who ever came up with the rules made it to fail even before it started. but that's just me. But hey what do I know I'm Just a guy that took a car that alot of people said when I started in 04 was not aloud car and Peter and I made it LOUD.
