why would you put your finals at the furthest possible point from where your biggest support is? why?

everyone in canada and NY got screwed. and those are THE 2 places with bigggest support of IASCA in north america................WHY????

They actually have a pretty big following in Florida, so it's not as crazy as KC last year.

thats the problem, short term thinking. finals in georgia this year = 0 competitors in canada and NY next year.

as much as we'd all like a canadian final or a NY final....that would mean no competitors from the south ..or less of them...

I'm a big IASCA supporter. But I have to admit, they've been doing some silly things lately. The finals are in SEPTEMBER??? The season just started. This is crazzy.

The only one doing short term thinking is you...

So they loose a handful of competitors in Canada, and the west...What do they get in return? How about 20,000 possible spectators passing through the gates, TV shows, magazine coverage, internet coverage, all also known as exposure which IASCA sorely needs if there is any chance of having a future. Somehow they need to breath life into competition, and by the looks of the last few finals turnouts, they had no choice but to do something extreme.

Yeah we got the short end of the stick, but you can hardly blame them...
