OK well hold up.... when i asked about the deadener from ebay-eDead or other stuff that costs a fraction of the price of the "real deal" You guys (some "experts" from this forum) said that this is crap and i should NOT buy it, and referred me to the soundeadener showdown website, so I read the whole thing and thats what it said.... so again,... should i buy the cheap stuff that comes in rolls, and its made mostly of asphalt? (I have heard it falls apart and sometimes leeks :/ .... and i dont want to have trouble with that stuff, I want to be cheap but not stupid...)

please let me know, cuz i was just about to spend $200 on 40sqft.. :/

lol i wasnt one of those "experts" i can tell you that much. did you know there is a sound deadener show down article #2 by the same guy (no joke) and in it he actually admits to the first one being kinda off.

if u are asking me what to get, get the B-Quiet off ebay. best deadener for the money, free shipping and no duties cuz it comes from Canada.

you dont even have to heat it to apply it. just stick it on and go with a roller over it. used it in all of my spl cars with very good results.

hahahaha depends bro. something like a Civic you'd want to modify to the fullest, but something like an electric ***** you probably wouldnt wanna fukk around with that, safest way to operate those is with all OEM parts. And you dont want to void the warranty either.

K, I hope You are right cuz the "asphalt leaking out and staining carpets" that some of the "experts" mentioned scared the out of me...

P.s.- about the warranty for an *****, they will probably tell you to shove it up.... even deeper...

You talking about B-quiet Ultimate? or normal B-quiet?... that stuff is not much cheaper then heavier Damplifier (30%more weight and thicker foil for $180 or so for 40sqft where B-quet comes to $160 per 50sqft - by weight Damplifier is cheaper).... I was asking about e-Dead and similar which are low on butyl content.... they are like $60 for 50sqft....

For normal cars non competition, why not just go with MDF and spray foam?
