i was thinking of doing a wall....but theres some pros and cons to that...

The subs you have are great, the RE is good as well.
The JBL subs have a better rep for SQ (not a lot compete in SQ with RE and NONE with the MT). I competed in SQ with a single RE SX 18" and it could hit 147 at the headrest and with the port partially blocked off I was flat (+/- 6 dB) from 20 Hz to 90 Hz... but the JBL sub sounded better

i agree, the jbl was never designed for spl application, but the amount of power they can handle does let them play loud, if its strictly spl you are looking for then the re is a better choice

im gonna stick with them for now....im going with a wall and i've already started building ......just got to pick up my other jbl gto14001 and im ready to go

i thinking of adding some 8s or 10s to make the wall more full.....any pros or cons to doing this....(not in the same air space) and i will take some pics of the progress soon
