What RE do you currently have, and what size of solo X are you planning on buying? Its not a big deal to have a 10 or twelve solo-x but the eighteen for a daily is a little overkill.

NOT a big deal? do you have any idea how much power it takes to run a solo x? do you even know what a solo x is?

Just get a 12l7 in a nice ported box and feed it power

yes i know, like i said money isnt a problem, if im gonna do it, i'll do it right
with the right power etc

but what im wondering is, even with a high end compnent sets and all that
will it still be too much bass for a DD? i still want that harmony / equality

If your looking for Sound Quality you dont need a Solo X, one L7 10 or 12 with 800-1000 watts rms will be perfect.

The Solo X is a SPL sub not SQ.

Since were on the the topic of the SoloX what do you figure would be better, 2 15l7's or 1 SoloX 18 for SPL? Try to debate on which way I want to go, I am thinking either those or with the DD 9500's. Suggestions?

Yes i do how much power it takes to run a solo-x, 2500-5000 for the 10 and 12 and 5000-10000 for the eighteen, and no it is not a big deal for a 10 or 12 for a daily. go with a smaller box and your bass wont beat the out of you. Its kicker not DD or T3

2 15" L7's more cone area, more air moving, more pressure. 30" vs 18"
