lol.. Man just dont make sense. I think if it happend at a show i'd be more pissed than I am.

 

The only reason I even found out I had a dead coil is cause we did a power test... made 2700 watts on one amp rising to 3ohm. Thought that was weird to have that much rise considering im starting at .7 on one amp and when strapped I cant even full out burp starting at .35 with out the amps going into protect. So i checked impedence at the speaker wires. It was sitting around 1.8ohm. (HMMMMMMM 1.8 rising to 3ohm thats not even 1x rise) Now that was really messed up. So I pulled subs and started checking coils. Sure enough no reading on one side of one of my twelves. = Dead coil. So I have a couple questions when and why did it die??

Thanks bro !! The best score to date isnt shown here cause Jesse deleted it before i could get a pic... It was a 150.9. And was done off of one 500.1 at .25 ohm. Still lots of potential left in this car.

 

not to knock american bass but 500.1 at 0.25 is not a good option. you'd get more clips than burps. i think you know anyways.

i'd either look for another amp or get another 500.1 and strap at 1 ohm.

 

Ya the heat last weekend was messing with my normal settings. didnt get it right until my last IASCA run. Im still waiting on my Cactus's to be fixed.
