Pretty sure your lookin @ 600cuin for street A... your going to want to buy the strongest batt you can afford @ that size... a hawker 1750 usually fits that bill.

Why Street A instead of Street Stock A or B ?

street stock your limited in wattage. but not in subs. I dunno I just didnt wanna try my 12" with 2000 watts agaisnt an 18" with 2000 watts. also vehicle mods are allowed.
to be honest street stock just sounds more difficult then street.

I understand what your saying with sub numbers .. But don't forget in Street A you can run up against 16k amps. ...one sub or not, thats ALOT of amp!!

So instead of running up against 2000k on an 18(or 3 square 12s) you'll be up against 0-16k of amp power on a single 12"..

Its a trade off I suppose..
I see it like a bigger or more sub is probably cheaper than a 16k amp

Either way, it'll be fun

good point lol. well as of right now i believe i can still enter either as i have not bought a new amp yet or my battery. i might just get the battery that fits bother classes then i can decide on the amp closer to summer and then choose a division.

I don't think 18''s are allowed in Street Stock A, unless there are Type R 18''s or something similar. Consumer grade products I doubt come in 18''s. There are some pretty crazy Street Stock scores out there though
