Hi guys

I'm looking for some suggestions and feedback from everyone that knows SPL. I want to start competing seriously next season and need all the guidance I can get, I know this is the place to get it.

I already have a good spl car and have started on the boxes, actually first boxes are almost finished.

I took some pics while making the boxes, I would really appreciate any feedback from the pros. Boxes are for 10's with 6" port in each.

















The boxes are going to go into my Fiat Panda

 

sorry but did you make boxes out of granite? If that is granite which I cant imagine it is it must have cost a fortune

 

not only would it cost a fortune but unless you actually know a size to make it you are for sure going to throw them away because I am sure the first box wont be even remotely close to your loudest

 

also how strong is that glue it may blow apart at the seams. Also it seems like you are using a very smooth material and then painting something inside it that looks rough hence defeating the purpose of using something smooth

 

looks like he's got many slabs of granite there to use.

One expensive box at $60 or so a square foot on materials......
