looking for a indash spl meter like the epic-160

so are there any other in dash spl meters like the audiocontrol epic 160 ? please let me know..

Could try to find an old Coustic RTA-33 with the high SPL upgrade. It's a real RTA that happens to be DIN sized and uses a real outboard mic.

did u guys happen to see the one they used in pimp my ride for the mtx jackhammer episode? I cant seem to find what that is..... but u guys sure theres nuttin else new ???

looks like the Coustic RTA-33 is really good but not around any more....

You could buy one from The Source, disassemble it, and customize it into your car. It would have more capability than that POS from Wreck My Ride.

Why not just get the Epic 160? ... Or even a 150?

i heard that the epic160/150 aren't accurate.

If you want accuracy you won't find it in any in-dash meter. You'll need to get a TermLab.
