Got alt installed today but i cant get the external regulater to work. It fires the alt up and out the gate idling im 16.6v and 18+when I hit the gas. Needless to say thats just not good for my cars computer among other things.

The regulator just wont turn the alt up nor down. Not sure what the problem is but it looks like I'm gonna send everything back to Dom to get it figured out.

Well at least I have old Faithful

im working with 2 MT 15s and some RD d9s.. but im running usaci trunk class, so we test in the kick, play higher notes etc.. looks like i can run about 180ish of port in the center shaped with the woofers.. or maybe 140 or so if i run it on the driver side.. with two d9s.. i need about 156s in the kick..in a 95 civic.

alot of guys have had luck with just 2 12s actaully playing them subs and ports both up.. but that dont matter.. im pretty set on a fwd set up like a legal set up uses.. with the 15s and alot of power..

so whats the verdict? center port or driver side?

i think most people have more gain with drivers side, but its mainly all vehicle dependant.
so build a box with a center port, and one with a port on the side, and see whats louder on the tl.
