Crabmustang, what size woofer are you using in the cavalier? I have pretty much the exact same car, just 00. And that is an amazing score MTA, so it is the loudest trunk in canada? I do believe the loudest trunk in north america belongs to mike stiers?

So if not good enough for the haters cause the one is under the rear seat. The 155.8dB was at LCS3 with only 2 amps the 153.9 on TL was at the CSPL finals in 2007 also 2 Ab amps so any way you look at it I had the loud trunk back then. Peter at that time had the loudest with his 154.1 but I out did his score with the 4 amps there is more in it yet cause Peter and I got the subs built right to work with the set up of the 4 amps. So hope this clears thing up. So all I have left to add is good luck to those who are going for it just be ready to put alot and I meen alot of hours in to your build an idea of what I meen my box alone has 280 hrs of work in to it give or take the car and testing is another story LOL.
Hey dave i could have sworn you had all 4 in the trunk on the piece of wood. Oh well, sorry ross I stand corrected. Oh ya and dave, I ain't hatin on ya. I may hate ya but i definitely ain't hatin on ya.(joking buddy)lol

Truer words have yet to be spoken, It takes a lot of hard work and hours to get a trunk car loud (Still looking for ways to improve the cavalier)

We are using a RD Audio Heavyweight 15 inch woofer.

I think Dave (Aka MTA Neon) has the North American World Record for loudest Trunk to date, Mike Steirs done a 154.1 i believe, but thats in a different sanctioning body and class, with different rules and such.

Thanks
Garett

I started out last yr. with 141! Nice job. I'm gonna be tuning an 07 GP GTP tomorrow. Single 15, Fosgate 2k. Will see if some of my tests will help him out as well.
