this is very true, a buddy of mine moved his box back 6" closer to the hatch of this trunk and gained a full 2 db just from that move.

Wow that is certainly a massive gain. What did you do on the new box different from your old box? Keep up the good work.

hey guys... tried a smaller port but also to my defensive - i am now using 15s...

is there a difference between a round port and a slot port?

Looks good but why change your setup? The round port is more musical and a slot port should be higher in frequency and much easier to tune. What impedance coil setup are you using and what amplifier? Some specs of the equipment would help.

there less room to play with the 15s to decided to try that... but eventually will go back o 12s...

will post pics of equiopment... but as far as i know the 15k ss amp is equipvalent to a cactus 15k... 7000rms at 1ohm...

That's great, why is that amp not labelled and that looks like another car judging from the pics.

What division do you enter and what association to you compete or going to compete?

All info would be nice because you must use your division to the max.

What are the readings of other fellow competitors and what numbers are they hitting?

What do you mean by the letters SS in your replies?

hey guys - apologies for the late response...

SS stands for Starsound... the amp was in my other car - hence the pic... this is the starsound 7kw... very similiar to the cactus...

i want to compete in stock2... 2 amps + 2 batteries + 2 12s :-)

currently with similiar cars guys are doing 159+

ooooooo..... good news - i found out that my car switched on and off was reading the same voltage... fixed that - added 2nd datasafe 505 bat and....

and this is back with the 12s setup - just added a 12 faceplate on the 15s box... and 1 x starsound 5z - 3000rms
