monsters!
so im sitting here all bored looking and different stuff and ive came across the audiobahn 34" and clarion 32" subs... anyone heard these? are they pretty crazy or just a joke?
|
Pretty much a joke... fun to look at but don't perform very well.
(all from what I've heard.. never used one myself) ;) |
If you haven't found it already, look for the MTX 5' sub.
|
hmm cant seem to find it...
|
I think there was a monster sub at autoworx in Buffalo... a nice demo piece...
|
We had the Audiobaun sub at our shop in 2001 or 02 it was garbage you could cook noodles in it it looked like a wok. The thing was all show no go.

audiobhan bashing......
i donno...i bought a '98 neon rt that had 2 awes12p subs in it,they looked flashy,so i wasent expecting tooooo much(also because ALL the bashing peeps seem to do) anyway,i wanted to see how much they could take before cooking....and was utterly supprised.really supprised.they took the load of a ultimate t3 1000d.....and only after 5-10 min. of playing(gains to min.)could u smell the coils gettin' hot n' bothered!!!!thats 1 amp PER SUB!!
they also sounded decent in a sealed box....yes i was sober at the time...lol...:) just my 2 cents on audiobhan's (best) offerings immortal/eternal line.... |
here is also another photo of the sub in another vehicle.
I wont even try to get into the whole story about it. Safe to say various companies and people had their nose mixed up in this and tried branding it their own and so forth. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c3...arkandDave.jpg |
omg......
looks like a photo from the popular mechanics archive..........lol......
