At $1099 retail for the amplifier that's powering the two loudest vehicles in competition right now, I think that's more than fair.
Plus, Pioneer has nothing to do with being "bendy" on pricing. That relationship is built between the customer & the retailer. It is illegal in Canada for a supplier to set fixed pricing.

well at $1099 its not so reasonable, but whatever. we all know amps dont make the 100% of the set up. and Im sure none of those guys paid $1099 per amp, now did they? or did they have a relationship with the retailer?? LOL i bet not.
or how about this, u send me one amp to test and if its good i will buy them at $1099????
Im serious, PM me if u want to talk.

Rip off?! What are you basing that argument on?
Of course the amplifiers aren't the sole reason a vehicle performs well. All I'm saying is that the people who are creating the loudest vehicles are USING the PRS-D5000SPL.
I'm not sure how the Steve & Scott acquired their product as Pioneer USA is completely separate from Pioneer Canada. As far as a dealer relationship goes, I don't know Steve personally but Scott is affilated with Edge Audio in Arizona. So the simple answer is, YES they do have a relationship with a retailer.
I'm not responsible for the territory you reside in. If you are serious, contact Pioneer at the number below & see who the rep is in your area & perhaps they will talk to you.
