I just won one of these amps off ebay for $110. Any body ever heard or had one? Are they any good for SPL?

You are either incredibly lucky, or just got scammed.

That's a 3kw amp, and a total beast. Even Indoaudio sells them for a grand a piece.

No kidding, that thing is a tank! A friend of mine has the 82001 and its mean enough itself... Here's hoping that it all works out for you, that price is ridiculous and as newb mentioned, it can only mean two things - hopefully the former.

It was a 9 day auction with no reserve. The guy said he was desperate for money to pay tuition and he has it for almost a year and didnt use it.
