I wish they would change it. although I really don't think its THAT big of a deal if you're not a full out competitor. every db drag I've done I've had the van running

Single point events I think we can get away with it. MUCH easier on the battery that way. Double, Triple point events, I think are different stories due to the ability to break records. Not sure though...

Paul, some things to know:

if everything else is done right, where the gain is should not matter what your spl is, it's the volume **** on the deck. if your score doesnt change much when you play with the gain on the amp that cuz it's not supposed to.

try playing with the crossover LFP/HPF instead.

2/4/6/5000 volt deck, makes no difference on spl. realistically you do not need more than 2 volts of input.

more power = lower peak hz

you need a better battery and more wire. oh, i have that for sale. Hawker 1700 with 4 runs of 1/0 to fit a mini van. Come take it off my hands.

hmmmm, I've just been keeping my volume at the same level and adjusting the amp. lol I'll have to try it the other way around. I've played with the Xovers, interesting things happened when I set them by termlab, instead of guessing...

... and I know I need more wire and a good battery, but... my *** is broke. lol I need a job. Schools out in 2 weeks.

Soon as my *** gets a job.... lol Your going to like the sound improvements in the front. Even I still can't believe it.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make the one at the end of the month though. It would be a REAL long drive home after a night show.

You and Nick should make a weekend getaway to sin city (oh, orrr the suburb of Detroit)... I've got some room. It's an interesting city @ night, lol.

I feel like I'm reading some sort of children's story or something ... it's just this one is about car audio.

Comes with pictures and emoticons too, whoa.

Childrens story? BOOOOOOOOOOO... Where's your numbas man? This "childrens story" took many hours of test/tuning to get to where it is, so long as there is a 150 db at the end, I'll be happy.
