Need every Professionals opininon!!!!

Now i have to know for sure what i am going to do for my new box setup. I am only putting in one twelve, and i want to know what will honestly be my best option for max SPL, i dont have a meter and cant get time on one for quite some time so which will be my best bet? I drive a 2000 chev cavalier. Sub and port facing inside the trunk (PIC 1) OR sub and port facing inside the cabin sealed off from the trunk? (PIC 2).

I know that the pics are both 2 12s, and one is a civic, but i will say again, just one twelve, in trunk or in cabin sealed off from trunk?

I would really appreciate feedback from the pros aswell.... Father Yuli, Team maximum threshold, and many others that i have forgot. THNX and if any one has had good succes with the cavalier let me know.

In a cavalier, so a big box, subs and port forward.. good dimensions to use is 14" H x 34.75" W x 26" D.. it just barely fits, you will need to take off the rubber seal to get it in and out. Your peak frequency will probably be between 45-49Hz, depending on subs, box, power, etc..

But I'm no pro

Thnx a bunch everyone..its really appreciated my sub is a twelve premier on only a 250 rms amp. its in a big box.(2.5cubes) tuned to 40 hrtz, it is facing inside the trunk and my highest spl so far is 140.5, and it sounds pretty good, the reason for the small amp is just to see how loud i can get on little power... will be getting a bigger amp shortly. THNX again
