If so,heres some tips I used in my own Jbody..
1)Strip the trunk!!Strip it within an inch of its life.I have removed everything except the spare tire cover in mine...anything that absorbs soud...GONE!!got me about a 2db gain.
2)If it doesn't already have one,install a fold down back seat.I have modified mine to simply lift out of place for comps.I have very near future plans to install a 60/40 split to make the set up IASCA legal.
3)What kind of box are you going to run?If it's ported,back load the box hopefully with the subs and port(s) pointed at the back of the car.I have mine set about 6-10 inches away from the trunk back..excellent reverbs.

Yeah man - if you want to 'fit' into a class you don't 'belong' in you need to give it more thought
