well upon talking to the guy at mtx who built my ta92001 amp the peak output is over 11000watts out of a 2000 watt amp for 2000 bucks... thats 112 ac volts output boys while pulling 170 amps of dc current.... very very very good... lets see what other amps can do that!!! and not rated specs but actually CAN do that....

did you prove this on your own as well? or is this just what someone told you based on a test bench? test bench and car are no where near the same, and after seeing what strapped ab500.1's can do... i am afraid of this amp.

and I'm guessing you cant do math very well lol

btw, if your amp draws 170 amps dc even @ 14.4 volts dc you only get 2448 watts of input
minus efficiency, and thats what the output would be

Exactly what I was thinking... only 2448 at 100% efficiency...

Even going to 18v... you're only seeing 3060w at 100% efficiency...

I think someone has been drinking a bit too much of the MTX Koolaid

What the hell are you talking about? lol First off there is NO 2000 watt amp that can actually put out over 4x its rated power that is just absurd. Also anyone who is in the business of SPL knows there are very FEW single amps that can do over 10k of power....and MTX certainly isnt one of them! Not trying to bust your *** but ya.
