hmmm... 7cubes to big..
whatkind of vehicle?
my box for 2-12's at finals last year was 1.5 cubes for both combined! that was a 152.5db box.. although my loudest box for 2-12's was 3.8 cubes, and it hit a 153.8, with thesame power.

ya.. im not too sure of manufacturer specs but i was testing it.. its louder with only one sub playin then both. so im pretty sure the box needs to be bigger. andy one willing to help with dimensions and port shape and size. that would be great.

i dunno, 7 ft^3 seems pretty big, i'm sure that could be the manufcaturers "suggested" "optimal" size, but realistically, that is going to take up a huge amount of space. try making a box as big as you comfortably can in your application and then test it out. going with a volume other then suggested will not hurt your subs (a lot), just your resulting SQ, so you might have to tune it a little for your prefs...

Stephanscavi, I tried to PM you back, you asked me what kind of Box do I have in my MX6, I wrote up a message, then tried to send it to you, but your mailbox is full, you gotta get rid of some of your messages so someone can PM you. Anyway, I'll try again in a short while

i had those subs before. i have email audiobahn and they suggested 3 diffent types of boxes 1.5 cf @ 40 hz , 2.5 @ 35 hz and 3.5 @ 34 hz. all box volumes include sub and port displacement. i would suggest opening winisd and see what it says.or just go sealed. do not put more that 400 wrms to each of these subs unless you like the smell of melting vc
edit= if going for sealed they suggest between 1 and 2 cf.
