nah i sold mine a while ago. i have a link on copper tho, but im sure they can get it where they live.

Right on I'll have to do a search, don't have a tap n die though.
... I was thinking of using copper bullion bars, the one pound ones, or bigger.

There are all different sizes and weights but there is some around 2.5" x 3.5" and 1/4 inch thick. I was thinking of just drilling 5-6 holes/ using copper nuts/ bolts/washers to attach 4 or 5 - 0/1 copper terminals and a hole for the battery post. Then encase it in thick plastic(I saw so huge bars Yuli had like that on CCA)

I found 10 - 1 lbs bars for 50+shipping on ebay.
Though aluminum has gotta be cheaper and probably way easier for a metal noob like me to work with, judging by my very limited experience with copper !!

If I could buy a set I probably would :dunno: .. I can picture the job I would do :supergay:

Those are nice DS , is 5 enough???lol

If I ever get to finishing my copper ones I'll sell you my aluminum ones. Look at the thread of my rex and you'll see them. 10 runs of each.

Bad news.... Ford has a recall on Windstars right now for rear axles. My dad's is 1 year older and has less than half the km's mine does and they kept his for this issue.

A friend of ours had to bring his in and they bought him out. They also wanted to buy out my dads van, but his is near mint condition and very low km's so they have yet to come to some agreement...

Long story short, I have to bring mine in tomorrow and had to return the van in "factory condition". So, I was busy all weekend, pulling out the system, wiring, lighting, alarm and reinstalling all the factory equipment.

The only things I left was the front door pods, and the HO alt. I'll find out tomorrow exactly what they plan to do.... :(

Aw crap.....that really sucks Paul....:bs:

Hopefully you get it back with the problem resolved......or they send you home with a large enough pile of $$$ to get another one.....:smilie_da

Do ya think Henry Ford really knew what he was starting?.....

DeadlySones 12-13-2010 04:44 AM

Thanks Bill.... I'm sure he didn't... :)

If it has the problem, they try to buy out because the fix is months away (a rental alone I'm sure isn't cheap)... if not.... I did all this work for nothing.... :ohwell:

SOULMUSIC 12-13-2010 05:45 AM

Holy crap bro...:thumbsdow

We'll keep out fingers crossed for ya...

Killer_klown187 12-13-2010 08:08 AM

Just look at it this way. If they buy you out, literally a fresh start lol.
