ah got ya.personally it better for me if it colder like that.... cold = higher DB in a neon!

 

Think of the kinda show someone could put on if they started advertising now give people time to get ready and plan for it... Given enough prep time some could put on a full weekend 3X at least a 1X and a 2X that would be a great way to get the season started.

That could just be me though.

 

ya but you gotta take into consideration costs tommie. A 1x is cheap, but 2x and 3x are expensive to put on. You need a good location with the ability to hold several vehicles. You also need to take into consideration, alot of ppl store there NICE vehicles, and many competitors will still be building now... Hell some prob not starting till little warmer. I dont know anyone personally located in or around SA that is gonna be willing to flip the bill on puttin a show on soon. Dale(greenhornet) in crannie would be who I would think would prob lay down the first DBDRAG of 09 in the west!

 

pretty early in the season to have a 2x event. Most of the hardcore guys have their junk all apart right now or arent driving them in the crappy weather. Also the new rules for 2009 season arent out yet. You would still get a lot of competitors there but I think the hardcore guys would just come in their points chasers to a 2x event

However a 1x event would be a great idea i think. I missed last years show

 

PS Dale in cranbrook usually puts on a show in the snow in the winter sometime

 

Ya, I have already mentioned somewhere on here that we are having our first show in the snow hopefully by the end of Jan-early Feb. It will be a 1x db drag low key event, mostly focused on getting the season started and having some fun.

I will keep you all posted when we get the date figured out.
