Opinions on the Hifonics Goliath XX3212's

Would you buy them?
Have you heard them?
Have you tried them?
What would stop you from buying them?

never tried them personally but the thing that would stop me from buying them would be other products out there for a decent prices that are proven in the lanes.

there was a write up on here afew montsh ago, about a guy who built a mini truck that used 2 15" goliaths, and he was hitting some impressive numbers!! I can't find the link right now to save my life, but he had a wall, hitting in the 50's, but like Chief said, there notorious name for there other things such as amps, well..would leave me a lil skeptical, but hey its worth a shot right?

That would be Jay aka Pornstar. He had the Hifonics subs the year before last and did around the 52-53 range in street max, so one battery, up to 4 amps and a wall. Now he's running mt's doing 56-57s. or at least thats what he was at finals '06.
