West Opinions on my wanted setup fifteeeeeens!!!

are there any canadian speaker or amplifier manufacturer's in canada?

I am currently running 2 12w1v2 JL audio subs and the 500/1 amp.
I'm also extremely impressed with them and like JL quite a bit, i've stuck
with JL audio quite a bit. every speaker in the car plus the 300/4 also.
I was thinking of getting another 500/1 and upgrading to 13w3v3's BUT.

It's time to kick my JL habbit

after spending quite a bit of time on the internet
i've decided to go with the rockford fosgate T20001bd if possible 749.00 (dealercostcaraudio.com seem's pretty good) and 2 Fi 15's (Q $264US series or BL 264US also) both rated for 1000 rms.

maybe a cheap hi fonics amp for fun test them out for a few hundred.

Ive also seen a bit about TFone subs??? where can those be purchased???

You would be well advised to do a background check on that company, they are absolutely horrible at best. Anyone can advertise a good price to get you to buy but when it comes time to deliver that is a different story. If you are going to spend money on equipment, make sure the seller is going to be there for you.

2 or 3 Optimas are more than likely going to be unnecessary. To me it sounds like you are putting the cart in front of the horse. While sure you can indeed have this many batteries, you need to be able to charge them. If you have a tiny little alternator and put 2 or 3 batteries on it, that alternator is not going to be hanging in there very long at all. Now it is not only trying to run the entire electrical system and the big amp you just installed but also try and charge 3 batteries.... The alternator runs the whole show in the vehicle, concentrate on wiring upgrades and alternator upgrade first, then look at the battery situation.

my wiring is already more than sufficient, the alternator thing i might end up grabbing a bigger one or adding another one to compliment the first. more wondering about the sub / amp setup is good or not... oh well... thanks for opening my eye's to the shitty customer service (and possibly even none at all) to dealercostcaraudio though.. onlinecarstereo has juist as shitty reviews .... where would one want to go for a little more reliable online service????

also my welder buddy can hook me up with a load of 1o or 2o welding cable.. either way I'll most likely be able to supply more than enough power to the system, OR face problems..

What is your budget for a amp and subs? What about the box, it is all about the box. What is this being installed into.

5.5 cu ft box ported but i can cover the ports and see how that sounds.. if thats not good enough i'll build another one more tuned to the specific sub. in my opinion batterys are better than caps so i'd rather put in 3 batts and have some fun ... just as long as the alt can keep them charged. but like I said before i'm not worried about the electrical part of the system. I don't even need the subs / amp that I specified I'll just get what I can thats good and peice it together. 15's are a must I want stupid loud and resonably clean.
