I wanted to know where(or if you know who might know where) to find 2 inch plexiglass. I got tonnes of places that can get it but no one has it in stock. i need a 4X4 piece of it. if not possible, 1 inch but i need a 4X8 Sheet of that. Every single place that i've gone to does not have any or cannot get any and has to order it . 2 month wait. The frieght to bring it in from the states is way ,way too much. the 4X8 (2 incher)sheet alone is $4000 and weighs 500LBS. i'm loking at around a cool $1000 for shipping plus taxes and duty. so if you know some one with a used windows for sale or a new piece but in canada, Please let me know. I do not want to resort to making my own yet unless i drastically need to. right now i don't, but you never know

If you can find 1" for cheap. Just bolt 2 or 3 sheets of it together and you'll have a pretty stiff windshield. Maybe Mike and Mark can help us out

I know team superior sound's windshield was maybe 4+ inches thick and that thing did not budge or barely rattle when they did a 174.4 on the new meter. but that thng was pretty heavily brace too. Just a thought. its never too thick

try fabco plastics i think they are located in surrey. my old employer orders all his plastic from them, and they are a heck of a lot cheaper than industrial paints and plastics for most stuff.

(i think the site is www.fabcoplastics.com or www.fabco.com) anyways hope this can help you out

We got our at Laird plastics in Calgary. It`s cheeper to buy 1" and bolt them together. 2" is way more money than 2 sheets of 1" (4 by 8).

we were thinking 2 inchs, but i mean. I had thought about putting 2 - 1inch sheets together, does it not affect it and make it a stress point where ever you bolt it together? can you tell i am competely unfamiliar with plexi? but hey we want to substitute the oem glass so that we can have everything soild. so i guess it shouldn't move if we have enough bracings(verticle seperations)?
