I believe that 3 things should be required to set the record...
A. Competitor must be a resident of Canada
B. Vehicle must be registered in Canada
C. Must be done at a multi-point event
imo

I agree on vehicle having a home as the third point.

To stay objective I am not voting on the poll. Ill give till friday then majority rules on the subject. If it follows the current trend, les's suggestions will be used to determine records as they are very good.

question: when a canadian runner is in china but runs faster than anyone else from his country and china ever has, does that make it a canadian record? or a chinese record?

i know i don't count cuz i'm a bass racer but it seems like following the same standards as the olympic committee and whoever else follow would make the most sense, and the easiest.

one more question, why do only multipoint venues count?
