it may have a difference with cabin gain, not sure how much louder it would be to the human ear.

so again i ask
i am rebuilding my ported box so should i fire themup through or back?
with the seats up there is just such a difference so i thought that if it was ported up through it might stay the same all the time-no?

you could port it thru the rear deck, but you gotta remember once theres a hole in the rear deck theres no going back. there will be a difference but the choice is yours. it'll be hard selling a car with a giant hole in the rear deck... but you can always fold your rear seats down

Or face subs forwards, slide box as far forwards as possible... seal it off from the trunk and port through the deck, remove the stock speakers and use those holes to port through. There should be 6/9s in there but i might be wrong. Should be enough room for 2 4 inch ports.

I agree I wouldnt put holes in the back deck unless you are gonna run that car into the ground. because no one will buy it after that and I think it would look pretty ghetto...
