OKAY... I'm pulling a rated 3600 watts plus 300 off of ONE battery (BASICALLY STOCK). I cant turn it up past 28 on the volume(goes to 35)---cant turn it up past 4 on sub level (goes to 15). My amps have all bass boost down all the way and the gain is 5/8 the way up ====I HAVE A LOT LEFT TO GO. Now, when i turn it past the volume level i have just posted. everything but the cdplayer will shut off(like a skip) but the track is still playing cause the numbers are still counting. anyway I wanna make sure that i deffinately need a new battery before i go spending 600 bucks on 2 stinger 1700 or something. my ground may be a problem because it is not really profesionally done. it has good contact and everything but it is not mounted to my frame or anything. suggestions??

I'll try and get some pics maybe tomarrow its too dam* late right now - 12:30 in the mornin.

Check your voltage at that level. The amps are likely shutting off/protection due to low voltage.

thats my thoughts exactly. the jl amp is set to go into protect below a certain voltage level. but.. the jbl do not have such features. they are just plain *** amps that put out a lot of power for what they cost. i don't know why they would all shut off. even at the same exact time. i mean... thats 4 amps shutting down at the same time. kinda weird.

Please tell me you have a relay for the turn on wire going to your amps...

wait wait wait scratch that. I thought you said power wire. For the remote turn on I have a switch before it splits off to all the sub amps-yes.
sorry about the miss-post.

not a switch, a relay.
the deck doesn't really put out enough through the remote turn on wire for 4 amplifiers. run a relay to the battery and use the turn on wire to switch it.
