questions about spl

say i have four subs and i want to compete in double 10" category can i pull the fuse on the second amp and go at it or must i remove them completely why i ask is i plan on adding too more subs to my set up and want to know if i am allowed competting im multiple category's

u have to take 2 subs out.

normally u would not be allowed to compete in 2 different classes at one competition.

that sucks so i guess i have to make up my mind i wanted to run two L-5's and two L-7's

Well now you can run 1 of each! Or just the L7s, but that would be boring.

i have two L-5's and want to add two L-7's to the mix the L-5's are loud as they are hitting aboute 140 db's

but then u would not be hitting 140 db's cuz same subs will create lots of standing waves in the parameter of the fuselage

dude what would possess you to add to L7's to 2 L5's. Being someone who has a little sense about car audio and as Les said don't you think you should add the same subs.doh doh doh.

to me it seemed like a simple question ! i have two L-5's and found L-7's for dirt cheap also i do lots of show and shines so it would look good

Here's an idea...

I'll take all those subs off your hands for say... $5.00

you go with your credit card and get some DD or somthin...

J/k,, I have one 12 L5 and it's loud on a saphire 1.0

so, 2 L7 should be good,, just get some good power!
