you can use one 1/0 or anything bigger....the more wire the better, providing you have good connections on the ends

well I don't have 4/0 back in to the amps... I don't know of any that would accept that.

I have the 4/0 going back to some copper bars. From there I have a short run of 1/0 in to the amps

ss xxx-10000 are supposed to accept 4/0

the soundstream xxx 10000w is a 1/0 Power/Ground connections

but it is supposed to accept 4/0

i know the xxx6500 has 1/0 inputs and accepts 2/0 no problem and some have gotten 3/0 in. and the 10000 inputs are slightly larger

I have never personally seen one, i'm not a huge soundstream fan, but what I got off the net said it'll accept 1/O power and ground connections. I know with the use of a reducer you can run almost anything to any amp, but I'm not sure who did what and how they did it - plus it seems kinda ridiculous to run 4/0 directly to an amp IMO.
