Hey guys...

I'm not too much into the whole competing aspect (yet) but I've got a problem....
My rear view mirror has become unusalbe since I put in my new sub/amp...
I'm running a Hifonics Brutus bx1000d, and an IDMAX 12"....
Everytime I turn up the bass just a little bit, the mirror drops to where I"m looking at my center console instead out of my window.

How do you guys combat this problem?
Or do you just live with it and use your side mirrors?

thanks
-lizz

Just live with it, and use your side mirrors.

I've knocked off/broke a total of 4 rear view mirrors in a couple of my vehicles.

Good choice on the sub btw.

most mirrors have a screw you can tighten so they won't move...

You are on your own if the bass makes it come right off the window, thou.....

Tough it out. I broke my rear view a couple times in this truck. I've found no remedy for the folding mirror. But if you find one post it on here. cause that would be a good thing to know. and yes good choice on the subwoofer. Great output for the exceptional sound quality. i love them. but there not quite up to the spl comp level. unless you got a **** load of them.

If the set screw is coming loose, a bit of thread-lock will cure that, no?

If your mirror doesn't have the set screw, live with it. I only have that problem when i'm burping at a comp (I burp at 62Hz) If you are the only driver, fiberglass that bastard up.
