Resonant frequency of a Windstar

Does anyone know the resonant frequency of a '99 Ford Windstar? When my enclosure was sealed, Matt tested it and it was peaking at 44hz. Would that be the vans frequency??? Or just from the sealed box?

How can I test for this without a TL or AC?

peak frequency depends on many things my friend. if i would have to guess i'd say mid to high 40's.

keep in mind box placement will also affect the note. So if you wanted to be sure you could graph the response outside the vehicle and subtract that from the in vehicle response to get the real peak in the position you what it in.

Box placement has to remain behind 3rd row seating. Subs up, ports back... good to know about the inside/outside response test. I'll have to try that once someone sells me their TL. lol

i will sell you mine. $1000

the reason it's that expensive is cuz it's mine and you are guaranteed to see high numbers on it. you could pay the extra money to buy wood and make a ton of boxes and spend lots of time testing them........or you can buy my TL for $1000 and be loud instantly.

holla forward

LMFAO ..... Awwww, the magic TL meter. Niiiice. I'm sure it takes a lot of testing (beating/breaking in) for a meter to work as well as yours. Plus, I wouldn't want to interfere with JB's testing not to mention it's like 650 new. I need one, but not for $1000. Your right though I'm going to waste ALOT of money until I get one. Until then, I'm going to have to rely on everyones experiences which is almost as good as having a TL.

Thanks guys.
