http://www.soundsplinter.com/rlp_pre...subwoofer.html

how would a RL-p 15, in a 2.8 cubic ft box, with 700rms sound?

im not too keen on SQ, i need as much SPL as possible.

i heard these subs r for SQ, but have great spl also.

or which other sub or subs would maximize my SPL with that little power, for approx 250usd, doesnt have to be new.

i got 26" x 16" x 16" to work with.
700rms @ 4 ohms or 350 x 2 @ 2 ohms.

need to maximize SPL from either 2 12s or one 15.

i had a 15" L7 before, and i know thats one of my best bets, but i felt like i needed a change.

listen HDAVE..if you want to be heard far away you dont want an SQ box and you dont want an SPL box... you want a beach pounder that is tuned fairly low (32-38hz)and the xmax curve will peak around 50Hz...I can tell you a 15 will not work well in that car since most 15's are around 15.25" and 15.5" diameter..some larger...the opening for your back seat with seat removed is only 15.25"high
if you build a box facing back wards all you will hear outside of your car is a discusting rattle..so..your is best bet is a box facing forward with a pair of 10's or a single 12"

i just like the price and magnet size of this sub.
and i read its good for spl also.

can u guys suggest another setup?

something to get as LOUD as possible with 700rms, approx 2.9 cubes to work with, ported of course, and about 330cdn.

pls dont suggest L7, i had that before and i needed a change.
