Some SPL Install Pics / Scores
The vehicle (1996 Cherokee Sport, 2 door):
* The equipment: 4x SAZ-3000Ds, 1x SAX-50.4, 6x Powermaster D1000s, 2x Harrison Labs Flux Caps, 2x Sundown Nightshade 15s
* 156 in^2 of port area with a kerfed edge
SOME RESULTS:
* ONE SAZ-3000D Powering both subs
* TWO SAZ-3000Ds
* FOUR SAZ-3000Ds (I have done 155.9 but didn't get a picture)
I believe I am battery limited with four - with a single sub setup I gained almost 2dB from one to two 3000Ds using one of the exact same woofers.
Another score I didn't post... with one 1500D it does 150.3 dB with a clamped power of 1150 per woofer (2300 total).
* Kick panel score with four 3000Ds for fun
* In the Port!
All scores taken with Term-Lab sensor -- most of them at "Competition Only" events in South Carolina, USA. The 155.0 with two amps was taken at my shop on my Term-Lab.
Bit more information as well...
* Box is about 5 cubes for both subs after all displacement
* All sides but the bottom of the box and the port pieces are double thick
* Have not quite finished applying resin inside, and have not applied any outside the box
* These are the older Nightshades with shorter coils
I'll post a few more updates as I change things around, which I do all the time!

by th looks of it too, your tailgae was designed as part of the port, given the distance of the gate, the rounded top of the enclosure. It makes me think you have a few more DB's to be found by cutting the port alot shorter inside the enclossure to raise the effective port tuning freq, after taking into account the added port length for your hatch door....if you haven't allready

With four amps I don't gain a whole lot - I think it simply draws too much current for my battery bank.
