Thumbs up

Hey guys, I was over at Grand Car audio today. I was talking with Ringo (man hes an awesome guy, hes SO super nice, its crazy) but I was pricing out a single DD 9512 for Comp use. And he said it was $XXX plus tax. (*edit - prices in PM please)

But he told me, (I WONT mention his name) but SOMEBODY from CCA just bought 8 of them. yes 8, thats nuts.

I gotta feeling that theres gonna be some real competition this year in the lanes. Good luck everybody

Ya Ringo is a stand up guy. He is a amazing person to just talk to. He treats everyone fair. Also he will get just about anything you want. And as you can see awsome prices. The only place I shop for my equiptment.

I'll definately be going back there myself. I was told that he the old owner, ran off with half the inventory, and scamed all his partners, good things I didn't do business with him, thats for sure

Yep I bought a Swissaudio SDX2000 off old Javad. It blew up so he said he would fix it. So I gave it back to him to fix and he went East.(with my amp) Probably never see that one again.
Anyway I'm glad he is gone now, because he was alot more expensive, and not half the person Ringo is.

less then half, after the stories I heard today. Glad that I didn't get more involved with him then I did. Seemed like a great guy, but he was a C**K-sucker like I learned today

COOL!
but who would buy 8 subs at once? are they gonna try and sell them off or are they expecting to blow a few over the season?

well, i guess i'll have to get my butt in gear and head on down to talk to ringo if i wanna stay in the game...

Buying 8 subs.. hmmmmmmm

if you build it.. they will come..
If you build it with 8 world record breaking DD subs.. they better bring hearing protection!

Like I say, its gonna get really loud here in Southern Alberta. Isn't that nuts.... Ringo is no SPL expert, but he says the subs can even take 6000 watts continuous,..... THAT is NUTS.

I'd love to say.... "yeah.... my car only has a pair of tens.... but IM pushing 12KW into them RMS.... I'd LOVE to see some jaws drop. Damn. Are there any amps that can put out 6kw RMS, besides the JBL/Crown and the new Hifonics 10kw?
