Its not the biggest that wins sure if you have 500,000w rms on 100 18” solo x subs it will be extremely loud but you can get a winner out of a small setup remember its all about the setup and tuning no necessarily the more subs and more power
I would grab the biggest amp for your money, more watts will help you get there.

 

ya something like 3800 rms at 12 volts, brutal for a 20,000 watt amp. We have tested the powerbass 3000's to do 2500 rms each so 4 of them doing probably less then 10k is louder then a 20k earthquake amp.
