SPL Box Design and Construction help
well i've already had this in a past post, but i thought it was worthy of it's own, since i very recently made an unsuccessful enclosure lol. i have an jbl w15 gti mkII running off a earthquake phd5000 amp...a couple weeks ago i constructed a box out of 3/4 inch mdf , and in the process it kept getting cut smaller and smaller to fit. in the end the sub just barely fit, and in a ported box it sounded pretty bad. i'm hoping a proper enclosure will make it sound much better, but i decided that i should seek advice before i go building one again. here is a design that i made, and any suggestions are appreciated.
(also, i was already told to make my port to specs instead of making a port wall, but im not sure how to do that)

this box has good bracing in it but does not have a faired port

don't forget that you can also run external ports, you may get an alien looking box, though one great thing it that you can easily tune your port to different frequencies... What are you trying to achieve? spl, great low end or all of the above? There's definitely room in that trunk for 6 cubes.

oh yeh and im pretty much just gonna have the sub box in the trunk so theres ALOT of space lol... i just need opinions because i dont wanna spend 80 bucks on materials if its gonna sound like my last one. thanks in advance for the suggestions, its appreciated. are there any adjustments i can make to the design i made or is it better to scrap the whole idea and start fresh?
