so your going to be running 2 sets of components right? type r's and type x's in the front i assume? you can run a 4 channel or 2 channel depending on what you want to run and itd be easier with a 4 channel but you would be giving 2 completely different sets of comps different power

look for a different battery. small kinetic batteries are as good as canadian tire batteries.

yeah your are going to need alot bigger battery to support that system and maybe even a second battery. what vehicle are you running this in? possibly even alt upgrade

oh i know for sure 100% im gonna need a new alt, it's a Protege 5, they have weak electrical as it is!

And Father yuli, the kinetik battery isnt good enough? for 400$ it better be.. what else should i look at then?

no point in running two 13dub7's if you've only got one 1000/1 amp. you'll be better off with one 13dub7 in a nice ported enclosure

You dont reccomend running 2 on one 1000/1??

Maybe ill pick up that other one on here for 550$ then, OR just get one Dub7 For now.. and go from there

I too would go the one sub ported route with only one amp or find another amp to wire to the second sub.

Well ive made a rough list

- 1 1000/1
- 2 12W6's
- 2 Runs 1/0 AWG Power Wire (One Power, One Ground)
- Second Battery
- Beefy Alternator (protege 5 alts SUCK!!)
- JL Componants (2 Sets)
- 1 300/4 To run the Comps
- 2 Sets of RCA's
- Alpine headunit
- 3/4" MDF Ported box built to JL Specs
- All Fittings, attatchments and sub wire

all i can think of right now

better off with some DD 3512's or some 12" TFOne's an amp that makes at leask 3KW. Ditch the alpine HU since their bass control is -15 to 0. Get a kenwood with 5ouputs, or an Eclipse with 8V even better. Build the box out of double layerd 3/4" MDF and that's the starting point
