SPL noob here
Hey folks,
Ima car audio noob but I love my bass. Currently I have two JL 12W3 V2's in a sealed bassworx box. My brother gave me his Kicker KX2500.1 to power them but I think thats to much. also they don't get to loud and don't sound that great.
Heres my plan. I want to get rid of these subs maybe give them to my buddy because I feel sorry for him lol. From some research I did I want to get 2 DD Audio 3512's in DVC 2 ohms. My buddy can build a box for me and I want it ported. I just want my bass to be loud but I'm not competing or anything.
Is my amp powerful enough? where do I get the box design?
Oh, my truck is a '98 Jimmy. I run an Alpine CDA-9815, Boston components up front and a PG Octane to power them (I think its 50X2). Mostly I listen to Rap and hip hop with some Trance and drum and bass.
