RIFF-RAFF

Hello,

I've always had decent stereos in my past vehicles but always relied on someone else to piece it together and install it and now I'd like to do it myself.Anyhow I'd like to list what I have and hopefully someone can tell me what I need and what I don't need and how to go about installing it.I have 2 amps,an Orion Cobalt 260 and an Orion HCCA 250,JL Audio 8W7 (3 ohm) in a sealed enclosure as per JL Audio's specs and my component set is a CDT 07 eurosport.I also have a Phoenix Gold TBA balanced line driver set up as well as Audison interconnects.I already have a breaker under hood as well as 0 guage cable already fed through the car as well as oxygen free speaker wire fed from the trunk where my amps will be right to my doors.
I'm hoping that I can get away with what I have but will buy anything else that is absolutely necessary.My intension was to have the HCCA 250 run the sub and the Cobalt run the components through the line driver.I have been told that the HCCA 250 wont drive the sub because its 3 ohm and the amp is designed to run at 2 ohms or less and would require at least one more sub to do it...is that true?I can figure out how to feed current to the amps as well as hooking up the trigger wires...its just the wiring of the speakers and the sub that I'm not at all sure about.Any help or better yet,wiring diagrams would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

hey...
250hcca is rated at 2x50@4ohm. You can easily run 3 off of it. You can run it down to .5ohm bridged and get around 800 off of it.
