/subs/
-ultimate max 12s (warranted 4 times at visions, ha-ha they don’t like me there anymore)
-12" jl w3 (no complaints)
-ultra linear 8s (yay! for $15 subs. 141.something with only 500 watts)
-clarion 8s (142.2 or something, i re-ported my box with a some what normal tuning in the 33hz range, sound so nice)

/amps/
-jl 500.1 (doesn't like 10 volts to much, and makes some stupid noises at .5ohm)
-some little ppi on my front speakers (deck power sucks)

//like to use (try)//
/subs/
-the list is long, and expensive

/amps/
-crossfire 4000d (bigger is better)
-spl dynamics 3000 (again with the bigger idea)
-any large boat anchor/ surf board will do
-ppi art series for daily driving, maybe a zapco, who knows.

Sorry man... no such thing as a SPL Dyn Ext-4000. There is an EXT-3k and PRO-4000D.

Actually, I think there is an SPL dynamics EXT4000 and it is still listed on the site. http://www.spldynamics.fi
They had some stability issues with it though, the EXT3000 was tested to be louder though, so I heard they dropped it. Did not hear this from SPL dynamics though.

This year I used:
earthquake D2's: very powerful amps, best bang for the buck by far.
12" RE MT's and 12" DD9512's: Both very nice subs that seem to beg for more power, no matter what is on them.

Would like to use:
dd9912's
EXT 3000's
Hopefully should have both of these in the next couple weeks.

Really? I thought they stopped making the EXT-4k (2 stacked EXT-2k's) ?

As far as I know, they did stop making the EXT4000's when the EXT3000 came out, but there are a few out there. They are apparaently very sensitive to voltage changes though, so they didn't sell too many. They fixed this problem by modding the EXT2000's to handle higher rail voltage, strapped them together, and called them the EXT6000drm. These amps were used to set the EX1 and EX2 WR. I have been told that an even bigger strappable amp is on its way soon...
