Stock 1 Help

Hello

I am new to the world of SPL, I have a pretty basic system as of now and want to start to work on a Stock 1 build this summer. My questions is what is competitive in Stock 1? I have been looking at amps and subs but don't have a clue what to get to be able to compete. The subs am interested in are the TFones and Digital Designs. I am going to stick to a single 12, and I am unsure the power I need from an amp that can be supported by a Stock 1 electrical system limit. Also the car is a Sunfire if that matters.

Thanks

what have you looked at battery and amp wise? post it here, it will be easier than just naming random products.

For an Amp I am trying to stay under $400

Soundstream TX1.2600
A couple Hifonics the Brutus series
Crunch GP3000d Pro
Older orion 2500.1

I would prefer to get something more powerful but it would have to be used

For a battery

Something in the 200ish range I have looked but all American websites and shipping is a lot not sure of a local source

Sorry for the lack of info still trying to figure things out

I am trying to keep this a budget build under a $1000 for sure

ok,

when you say Stock, what organization do you mean? there are "stock" classes in more than one 1 org and rules are different between them.

and where in ontario are you?

reason I ask is because you probably do not want to start building by the rules of an organization that has no shows in your area, u know what i mean?

also because there is no IASCA in your area.

look up the rules for Db Drag Street Stock classes and build for that
