Looking for a 15" sub under 500 bones that could handle 1000-1500 watts. Looking for a 50/50 split sq/spl.

RE XXX if you can find a used one, or someone on this board bought a soundsplinter sub this winter. I didn't hear how it sounded but apparently they are on par with the XXX, just handle a little less power.

i was at a shop and they were tortue testing a treo ssx subwoofer. that subwoofer is loud and drops down low i heard it in a civic hatch off a really big treo amp

What would be louder to the ear? An sx15 or xxx15 off 1300ish watts?

Where can you pick one up in edmonton? How would it do on 1300 watts compared to an sx15?

the sx will be louder but have less sq.1300 watts is a little much for a sx i think but its perfect for the xxx

If you can find a RE HC 15 for a good price those are awesome subs. They are the discontinued line that the SX took over.

I've seen a bunch floating around, I had 4 and they are chillin somewhere near by
